William Stidston & Rebecca Wakeham Family

 Richard Stidston was born on April 15, 1693, in Modbury, Devon, England, where he was also baptized on the same day. He was the son of William Stidston (1665–1721) and Rebecca Wakeham (1662–1760), and had several siblings, including brothers Bartholomew (1699–1755) and Edward (1700–1755), and a sister Elizabeth (1705–1792). Richard married Joan Pooling on December 8, 1714, in Harberton, Devon, and was known to reside in Modbury during his adult life, maintaining the Anglican faith. He lived through the deaths of his father in 1721, his brothers in 1755, and his mother in 1760. Richard Stidston passed away in 1769 at the age of 76. 

 Elizabeth Stidston was born on October 5, 1705, in Modbury, Devon, England. She was the daughter of William Stidston (1665–1721) and Rebecca Wakeham (1662–1760) and had several siblings, including Richard, Bartholomew, and Edward Stidston. Elizabeth married Samuel Boon on April 23, 1740, in Modbury, and they had at least one son, Samuel Boon Jr., born in 1742. Throughout her life, she experienced the loss of her father in 1721, her brothers Edward and Bartholomew in 1755, her mother in 1760, her brother Richard in 1769, and her husband in 1770. Later in life, Elizabeth moved to Dorset, living in Westbury around 1785 and Sherbourne before her death around 1792 at the age of 87.
