Elizabeth Stidston was born on December 23, 1749, in Cornwood, Devon, England, and baptized a month later on January 23, 1750. She married James Radmore, born in 1758, with marriage records showing dates in 1778 and 1781 in Stoke Damerel, Devon. Elizabeth was the daughter of Richard Stidston (1727–1783), who died in Newton Ferrers, Devon. Together, Elizabeth and James had several children: Elizabeth Radmore (born 1783), William Radmore (1787–1841), John Radmore (born 1789), Rebecca Radmore (1791–1794), Eliz Radmore (1791–1866), George Radmore (two sons named George, one who died in infancy in 1793 and another who lived from 1794–1835), Mary Ann Radmore (born 1800), James Radmore (1802–1867), and Frances Radmore (born 1810). Elizabeth lived in Stoke Damerel, Devonshire, where she passed away on September 25, 1811, at the age of 61.
